| Subject: | [amigactive] amiga h/w - yes or no ?!? |
Hi!
Hmmmm, i'm looking AmigaInc strategy for a long time, and one question
is bothering me...
Why will I (or anybody else) buy ANY amiga related h/w when:
1. can sell my amigappc+blablabla setup
2. buy low-cost high-spec calculator box
3. get amithlon or whatever... and i will have up and runing
"amiga"?!? setup wich is 2 to 5 times faster then my curent...
I don't see how can amiga1 be price-performance concurent?
G4 is NOT that fast compared to other cpu's, and he will have also to
emulate 680x0 cpu for aplications(there is not much ppc aplications
right now)...
IF is he 2-3 times faster in emulation then (for example) athlon on
1gHz there is no excuse for price that amiga1 will have (i don't
think that amiga1 will be low cost8-()
